This works great. I did free hand motion on this cup holder I made. Which I am still learning free hand motion. It doesn't hop around as much like my other free hand motion feet and I like the open toe much better. I also have a clear closed open toe free motion foot and a metal closed toe free motion foot, I don't like either one of those. the closed toe keeps me from seeing where I am sewing and they hop really bad. They both came with my machine, so I know I have the right presser foot lol. I'm guess i am doing something wrong with the old ones I have. This one TISEKER Metal Open Toe Free Motion Quilting Darning Embroidery Presser Foot for Brother has made it so much easier for me. ♥

    Work on my LX2500 Brother Sewing machine

    Works on my LX2500 brother sewing machine. Doesn’t press all the way down on the fabric like the normal foot but I think it’s supposed to be that way so you can freely move it around which has been helpful.

    Work around if top pin breaks

    Ordered back in October when I was learning free motion. Worked great on my singer 4455 HD until it broke. I've made several lap quilts since October, and probably a dozen using the free motion foot.
    I was down to the last 1/4 or so of the quilt I was working on when it stopped jumping up and down and it was like pushing the fabric through a ton of bricks. When I looked at the foot to see what was wrong, the top pin broke into two pieces. Luckily I was able to raise the spring in the back every time the pressure was crazy so I was able to finish.
    I was disappointed when it broke mostly because I wasn't finished. Glad to find a work around that took a little longer but still got the job done. Sharing in case it happens to someone else.
    Over all I was happy with for. Did exactly what it was supposed to do so I ordered 2 more. This way, if/when it breaks again I'll have a spare!

    I’m learning to free motion quilt and embroider. This foot works fine on a singer heavy duty. The bigger challenge is choosing the correct needle and thread. This contraption allows the foot to jump up and down. It took a few minutes to understand how it fits on the arm; the skinny bar rests on top of the bit.
    Good value. Seems durable. No instructions but there are plenty of tutorials on the internet.
