Use it during the design phase for pattern piecing and to test and fine-tune appliqué placement before stitching. It’s also great for holding templates in place and for assembling landscape quilts with cleaner, more accurate positioning. During sewing, this quilt basting spray helps reduce the need for pins when securing appliqués and can minimize hoop marks. It’s ideal for holding stabilizers to fabric during embroidery and for temporarily bonding backing fabric to batting for smoother layering and easier handling. Directions: Hold the can upright about 12 inches from the back side of the fabric. Press the nozzle and spray in a light, even side-to-side motion, covering all edges. Wait 30 seconds, then press the sprayed piece onto your project while the adhesive is still tacky, repositioning as needed. Before storing, turn the can upside down and spray a short burst to clear the nozzle. Tips for best results: A little goes a long way—apply a light coat from 12 inches away. Protect your project and workspace from overspray, especially when spraying near your work. Clean most work surfaces with soap and water, though heavier applications may be harder to remove from some surfaces.
