Amazing machine! got in 3 boxes.. watched various videos to put it together.. im 60 plus woman and i was able to build it by myself, except I asked my husband to lift the main component to put in place once I had built the table and motor.. It was easily accomplished.. would recommend this purchase to anyone wanting to step up their sewing capabilities.. it is not made for lighter fabrics but made to sew heavier fabrics.. I love it!!

I was a little surprised that my machine came in 3 boxes and not already put together, but that was probably me not reading completely. The boxes arrived to my house all in tack and the only thing that was a pain was there were no instructions on putting this machine together. Thank goodness there are really great videos on YouTube that explain everything. Basically, the machine Juki 8700 was the video that I watched because the table and servo motor are the same. The machine is also pretty much the same except the hand wheel is much bigger than the cover. I was able to get hold of the company through Amazon and they responded with giving me there direct number and then I was able to talk with a really nice technical person who told me that the cover wasn't needed if you had the machine at home. That it was for when the machines were in a factory and for insurance purposes. That was music to my ears! Once I got the machine all put together, I watched a few for videos on how to thread my particular machine. It was easy peasy! I am thrilled to have this quality machine. I would recommend it.

From start to finish the entire set up of table and machine took about 3 hours and that's without instruction manual. You Tube videos were a big plus in getting it put together right . We've been using it for about 2 months now and really love it .

Wow what a machine. There is still a learning curve with the speed of this machine. I have mine turned down to 600 and I still have to be really easy pushing the foot peddle. Other then the learning curve it is a wonderful sewing machine. I highly recommend it.

This review is less about the machine, and more about the table that you pay for as well.
So, while the Juki machine itself has been amazing, the table itself is pretty much the worst thing I've dealt with, as is the customer service. The table does not come with assembly instructions, and the foot pedal is on a bar that rests under the legs which makes it's profile lower than the t-bar legs themselves. No matter how much I tighten the bolts, the table always wobbles from side to side and no amount of reconfiguring has stopped this, which is a problem when you're trying to use the knee lift and the entire table leans to the side.
Your best bet is to just purchase the machine head and order the table from somewhere else, because this thing is poorly designed. Not to mention when I was putting the table together and reached out to customer service, they wanted my phone number to 'send me a link to instructions for the table' instead of just sending me the link via message. On top of that? The number to their 'point of contact' never reached back out to me in spite of me calling several times and leaving messages.
