Knitting row counter

5 out of 5 stars

Knitting row counter
This is, by far, the best accessory/gadget I have ever purchased. I added the chain. It is long enough that it does not interfere with the knitting needles or my arms. As I begin each row, I “click” 💖💖

    Excellent for crochet row/round counting

I've replaced all my other row counters for my crochet projects with these for keeping count of rows and rounds. The locking feature is the best part because I can carry the counters in my project bags without worrying about the count getting messed up. It's also easy to reset or correct mistaken clicks with the dials on the sides.

I found it helpful to put a cord in the hole they put in the counters so I can keep it around my neck while I'm crocheting. I assume that's what the hole is there for in the first place.

Do note if you are counting more than 100 rows that the counters reset to 00 after 99.

When I'm not using them for a project, I've also found these great as a fidget toy (if I'm not around anyone bothered by the clicking lol). Very satisfying to click repeatedly xD

These are exactly what I needed

These are inexpensive, easy to use counters that work well. They can be locked for when I take them to-go in my knitting bag. No more accidental buttons getting pushed in my bag, causing a miscount of my rows. There's a handy hole on top of each counter that I can string a piece of my yarn through, so that I can wear it like a necklace as I knit.
You'll never be fishing around looking for your counter that always gets lost on your lap or in the folds of the couch each time you are ready to count another row. So you can quickly push the button and get working on the next row of knitting. The counter is always exactly where you need it. I like to use the same yarn for my "necklace" as the main color of my project, so that I can better keep track of which project the counter goes with. I often have multiple projects I am working on, and accurately counting the rows of each project is important. I need all the help I can get! 😉

This is a must-have for knitting and perfect to keep track of rows or sets of repeats. Audible feedback helps as opposed to the digital row counters. Good to buy a few for various projects. Since this does not have a cord, I use yarn.

Glad to have found these! It's nearly impossible to find yarn accessories in craft stores anymore, and what is available is always the same or none supplied. Larger and longer sizes of needles and hooks have to be ordered online as that is the only place you will find them. This is exactly what I needed and they are working just fine. As always, you can certainly count on Amazon for your needs. Thanks Amazon!!

Spend the money and get the name brand

Previously I had bought a set of off-brand stitch counters that worked in the same fashion as these Clover brand stitch counters. Let me tell you it is well worth the extra money to get this brand. They work flawlessly. There are other name brand stitch counters that work well, however, I have not found any with Clover's locking feature. This is important to me as I have a 5-yr-old granddaughter who likes to count things and sometimes borrows my stitch counter!

Easy to use, lightweight, can be worn around neck or attached to my clothing (it's a little dorky, but it works for me), and they LOCK! This is great because I take my knitting with me everywhere, and I never have to worry about whether some rows accidentally got added to the counter. The three pack is great for knitters with multiple projects going at once.
