Can I wash the cutting mat?

Yes, you can wash it with water or with a mix of 3/4 water and 1/4 vinegar. Make sure to remove cloth threads before washing, let the mat dry completely before usage and avoid bending the mat in any part of the process.

We offer our cutting mats with imperial markings.

How does the self-healing layer work?

The self-healing layer allows most of the cuts in the mat to heal, without leaving significant traces. Thanks to the unique material used in the layers, most of the cuts will be restored.

Are cutting mats heat resistant?

No, when exposed to too much heat the cutting mat can bend or even melt. This can compromise the effectiveness of the mat for its intended purposes.

SELF-HEALING – The self healing mat 36×60 consists of 5 layers of different PVC materials. When an incision is made, the top layers of the pink cutting mat contract together to hide the cut and keep the surface flat.
SUSTAINABLE – The two underlying layers of the fabric cutting mat 36×60 are made from strong recycled PVC, which reduces the environmental footprint of our product. The middle layer gives the sewing mat robustness. To maintain quality, do not bend the cutting mat for sewing 36 x 60.
PROFESSIONAL GRID – Both sides of the cutting mats for crafts 36 x 60 include an imperial patchwork grid. The patterns and text on the hobby cutting board are professionally applied, ensuring long-lasting readability.
