    I used to remember the row I was on in a pattern, or if I forgot, spent fifteen minutes recounting and double counting to make sure. These are easier and much handier, especially if you have multiple projects. It's nice to have the two different colors, as I have some patterns that say repeat rows 34-56 five times–I can use one color for the rows and one color to note which iteration I'm on (which I agree is totally unnecessary, but they give you so many, why not). The only problem, and this is temporary, is that if you have curious toddlers, it's too much fun to turn them, so you better hide them or they'll help you mess up your pattern!

    You get what you pay for and these are cheap…

    I'm used to the Boye brand of row counters, these are not anywhere near them in quality. Out of 12 row counters in this package, 4 didn't move smoothly, in fact, 1 didn't move at all. 2 more did not stay in place and the numbers were not clear to read. I'm keeping the package because 6 of these in the Boye brand would cost around $15.00. I wasn't expecting great quality so I'm not upset. I won't recommend purchasing these unless you're willing to accept duds in the package.

    Not great quality. About half of them worked properly. The other half, the parts that were supposed to spin were stuck in place or fell out altogether. The other half of the counters work reasonably fine, but even those aren’t great. The numbers don’t sit properly in the window they show through. Personally, I won’t be buying again. I’d rather buy a more expensive name-brand 2-pack and know I’m buying quality.

    Get a more expensive one and not an entire package!

    When I searched for a row counter I saw this package. I liked having several for use in a couple of projects. The counters went onto the needles easily. But, it is very difficult to adjust for each row in some of them; in others the counters can be so easily turned that rows are added or subtracted if you just move your knitting. I’m going to look for some other kind of row counter that will provide me with an accurate count. Save your money!
